Hi everyone my name is Wendy Reaux, lover of all things crafty.  I am originally from Texas and moved to Louisiana to attend college.  I loved it so much that I stayed!  My degree is in Hospitality Managment and I also studied for a teaching certificate.  I believe those degrees got me ready for all that life had in store for me.  

I first started my career at the Lafayette Convention and Vistors Commission, which is how I knew to find such a wonderful event center.  I've also worked at the Hilton as a Corporate Sales Mgr., I started a small business where I taught preschool computer classes for 12 years and on the side I taught scrapbook classes for about 8 years.  I also worked at Disney, the happiest place on earth and this job is where I can say I learned my work ethics!  I was born to put on a party and this event allows me to do just that!  I also love creating scrapbook kits with Toadilliy Scrappin Kits and own Southern Silks LLC where I create beautiful flower arrangments for brides!

Everyone says when one door closes another will open.  I have been so blessed to create these wonderful events for the last 9 years and I am happy that I get to continue my dream by providing a wonderful crafty experience for you all.    I think my work ethics have been proven over the last 9 years designing and creating these themes and spending countless, but happy hours making this a great event.  When starting this event I always planned to go big or go home, I was ready to work and ready for what each event would bring....things will continue to be BIG even with some changes that will be taking place.  I thank you all for your continued support!
